All our horses in Hvammur 2 live in big herds which allows them to life in their most natural way and experience a great level of socialisation. Our young horses grow up with other playmates and we also have a separate herd for stallions.

In the summer months the younger horses and mares are brought up to the highlands

where they enjoy good grass and plenty of space to discover.

In the fall we bring them back to the farm and feed them hay throughout the winter.
